I dont think they do because I looked up on youtube JV high school cheerleading half time routines and not all of them knew tumbling. Like at the most it was like 2 sometimes some coaches might want it you have to talk to your coach for high school next year.
Good Luck! Hope you make it!

i just started a few months ago but i started with my back. start on the rollers that the coaches usually have at the gymnastic centers. then, hit the trampoline and throw some every chance. you will have your standing back handspring in no time. im a really fast learner so i got it all after about four lessons.

all you have to do is practice, practice, practice!

the only thing you can do is work at it your hardest. when i was trying to get my backhandspring it took a long time just to get your body used to it. it really helps to get coaching so they can give you tips on what your doing wrong or to spot you..you could try doing on a trampoline just to get the form down, its a lot less sacary than on the ground. when you go, you have to give 100% and be fully commited to it. other wise it wont turn out as well. focus on pushing through your legs when you jump, keeping your arms straight and your shoulders pushed up, and look at the ground when you jump back. good luck hope it helps! =]
