@racquelrose12 Well, just imaigne (bad speller) that you are ‘picking up’ your fear and locking it away in a HUGE case. Then the case is blown up. And just try not to think about it as much :]

Hi I’ve got a question. Do you think I should attempt a backhandspring cause I can do a front handspring and a backwalkover and I do gymnastics thanks if you answer 🙂

@MyHappybunny101 i would NOT reccommend doing it at home at all, even if you’ve watched 50 million back handspring videos. you absolutely need a spotter or someone with you at least. but if you insist on trying it, jump as hard as you can and keep your arms by your head. the only thing that can help with fear is doing it.

well really, you do have to arch your back some, because if you don’t you’ll land on your back instead of your hands. you just have to arch your back the right way.

@racquelrose12 – Don’t try it if you’re really worried. I tried it once and landed on my head. Try it when you’re ready and you feel like you can do it. You could take a tumbling class and ask the coach to spot you less until you feel comfortable with doing your backhandspring. (:

I havnt tried it but i cant believ thats all you need to know to do a back handspring! just a spotter! you dont even need to know how to do a backwalkover. thats so cool, ill go try it 😉

@racquelrose12 try having someone put there hand behind you but dont touch you so you know its there and you have the feeling of doing it by yourself hope i helped (=

@racquelrose12 trust me if u act timid and afraid u mess up its happened to me before and if u do it right and with confidence ull do it right

@racquelrose12 If you have a good imagination or if youre good at picturing things heres a tip: Picture you spotter. When i was first learning flip flops on beam i would get really scared when my coach wudnt spot me, but i learned to imagine him there and since you cant actually see him wen hes really spotting you anyways, it helps 🙂
