Okay, im trying to stay in shape for the cheer seaso and was wondering if my workout sounds good enough.
-50 pushups
-40 crunches to the left, right, & middle
-50 v-ups
-50 frog jumps
-50 jumping jacks
-50 squats
-10 of each jump
-run 10 laps around my house

idk what we are going to do but it is the first cheerleading preseason work out i am attending because i missed the earlier ones because of camp and stuff, but what should i wear?

just like soffees and a sugarlips tank?

soffees and a sugarlips tank sound perfect.
just make sure youre wearing sneakers (preferably cheerleading sneakers if you have them. if you don’t regular sneakers will be fine) and make sure your hair is tied back and out of your face.

Jump Drills!!!! Haha they are so painful..but they help.
For warm ups..start with high kicks..do about 15 on each leg.
Then..do 3 of each jump.. 3 toe touches..3 herkies…3 hurdlers…3 pikes (they dont have to be all in a row..stop after each jump..then do another..and another..)
Then..Do continuous jumps..Do a toe, herkie, hurdler, pike, pike, hurdler, herkie, toe without stopping!! It kills but it helps alot.
Also..for my squad..in the summer..we practiced right by a track..so our coach made us run 2 laps..and if we were practicing inside then we ran around the school..like down the halls..up stairs..haha. Um..we did a few push ups..but not a ton. And we did motion checking…for instance..everyone on the squad would go in a high V then..our coach came to each of us and tried to pull our arms/move them out of place..if your arms moved then you needed to be tighter..this helped too! Um..I think thats about it..of course if you have tumblers then you need to practice their tumbling..Hope this helped! 🙂

Well im kinda a male cheerleader so i need to lift wieghts so i need someone who could give me some type of workout to do at my gym…(24 hour fitness) and yeah so help!!!

I would work on your over all strength. Lift weights and focus on your arms, legs and your core. The typical push ups, crunches, bench presses, pull ups,will work. Don’t forget stamina. You are going to be doing a 3 minute routine non stop. Start running and throw in some sprints too, they will help.
Work on your arm motions and your jumps too, it won’t do you just focus on working out and forget to practice.

Do you have a local college or other high school nearby that has male cheerleaders? Go and speak to them and they can give you an idea as to what specific machines to use or drills to do.

I’m preparing myself for cheerleading again and I’m still slim (5’0, 86lbs) but I have absolutely no muscle, and I’m weak everything except for my legs. So are protein shakes good to drink before working out?
And what do I need to do to get back in shape and prepared?

i would say protein shakes, in combination with a very healthy balanced diet, would help you achieve the figure your looking for. if you eat a low in fat meal before you work out, and a protein shake your body will burn the calories and fat quickly, and the protein will give you the rest of the energy needed to get through the workout.
