Hey there! There are a lot of places that you can go too for proper cheer techniques and learning. ok , 1st off look into calling local cheer gyms and tumbling gyms that have cheerleading programs. you can go in and meet the coaches and kids and maybe join an ongoing cheer /tumbling class and then maybe even join a team!
next you can go and type in cheer camps and then look into the list thats given and remember, going to camp by yourself is not the best for learning and being part of a team. Are you looking to join your schools cheer team? good luck with your search!

I graduated in 2007, went to college for a year, and decided to take a break from school to figure out what I want to do.
Besides NFL cheerleading, is there any other squads that compete or anything else where you dont have to be in school to be in?
I’m from Indiana. I attended Purdue University for a year. I have no tumbling experience, but would be willing to learn a few things if I have to.
Don’t All Star teams usually require tumbling?

I cheer for my college football team, and I didnt really smoke like I do now last season but Im keeping up at the gym all the time and I havent noticed too much of an effect yet. Does anyone else cheer and smoke daily?

Why are there less asians in cheerleading? Cause after seeing the cheerleaders in the yearbook, i saw only 1 asian out of like 10 whites/hispanic. Will i be the onyl asian in cheerleading next year? Will I be a loner in the squad?

To find a camp go here: http://varsity.com/camps/ In the banner at the bottom are icons for different cheering companies. You can click those icons, find their section on camps, then click the link to camp search or camp finder. It will bring up a search form so you can check your state and others nearby. You will have to contact the camp, however, and see if they have a “camp team” available for individuals who are attending without a team of their own. (If you want a summer camp, you may have to wait until April or May to actually be able to see the list of available camps.)

I am entering in a cheerleading stunting competition at a high school level, and we want to have 2 people flying or at least each up in the air at some point. There are 5 people total in the stunt group and bases, front spot or back spot is optional. Any videos or explanations would be nice.

ok just an idea so what you do is you have one flyer go in to a shoulder sit (look it up. you will need one base and a back spot for one second) Then the other flyer and base base and backspot is you go to a prep or extension and give the shoulder sit your foot (a hitch)
The backspot from the shoulder sit will come in and frontspot the other flyer possibly
