is it just that a basket toss they throw you up right away and a cradle you go up to extension first?

noo. you can cradle from a half. basket tosses are just a lot more difficult and you always go from an extention and you do a trick in the air. like for example toe touch. im a flyerr and basket tosses are pretty hard to do. a cradle you just pop up your hips and taco. (basically youu have to ride it down).

Ok, so im a GREAT flyer in cheerleading. I get up in to my liberties and mids fine, and i can do extensions, and hitches. But i cannot do a cradle! Help!! I like jump, i don’t understand how to do it and i need help! Thanks! ~Mick

Im a flyer in cheerleading and Iv been having trouble doing cradles. I always lean forward and jump out. I try not to jump out but when I think I dont I do. I neeed help.!!!

ok! i have an answer to your question. You have to make sure to lay stiff like a board but sit up just like you are lying in a lounge chair. put your arms out as if your doing a trust fall. your bases will catch your body and your backspots arms will link through yours to catch you. It is difficult at first but then you’ll get the hang of it. Sometimes it helps to just watch another flyer do it and then you can copy her motions. Hope it helps and nail that cradel!
