Q&A: What are some examples of cheerleading routines can we do in a parade?

Question by Da1Nonly: What are some examples of cheerleading routines can we do in a parade?
I am a first time cheerleading coach and we have some parades coming up soon. We have to do routines and stuff in the parade. Any ideas? The squad has 24 people in it and most are aged 11 to 14.

simple cheers in halves or fulls. you don’t want anything thing to fall. so keep it simple, you’re in front of a crowd

  1. cheer is power!

You could have your squad do different cheers. Then make it manditory to do a jump/kick in the ralley afterwards.

Try to find an upbeat song that can blast from the float. Like “Just Dance” or “Get offa that thing (and shake it tell u feel better)” or “Can’t touch this. And put it on repeat. Make a simple simple routine that the squad can do over and over. It doesn’t have to be long because different people will see it each time. Include a stunt (although it may be dangerous on the street) and maybe some tumbling.

Sorry I can’t really describe routines on here. But here are some youtube videos.
