Should I try out for cheerleading or wait and see what happens next year?

Question by Jessy: Should I try out for cheerleading or wait and see what happens next year?
I’m in seventh grade, and I’m twelve. Wow, I’ve repeated that so many times on here. Anyway, cheerleading tryouts are coming up pretty soon. This week, actually. I’ve never been the type to want to try out. I never thought I would. My mom was a cheerleader long ago, so she’d really approve. I’d really like to do it, too! The only thing is, I don’t know what my friends would think. Now, I’m not the type to worry about what others think or really care, but all of my best friends think that cheerleaders are just annoying girls who scream and are stupid preps. It just doesn’t seem like me! Should I just go for it, even though I have no clue what I have to do at tryouts? Or should I ask anyone else if they’re trying out, too? If anyone has ever done cheerleading, what do you have to do in order to try out?
My friends don’t either.
They get so stuck up when it comes to what they call “preps”.

I say go for it! When I tried out when I was your age, we had to do three different types of jumps, a cheer with a group of about three other girls, and then a cheer by yourself. Im not sure how it is with your school though. Good luck if you decide to try out!!

One Tree Hill – Stolen (cant wait for S8)

song: stolen by dashboard confessional. Thanks to “TeamBrookeable” i used the fans wanting a season 8. One Tree Hill, “the little show that could” (Mark Schwahn), has graced our television screens since September 23 2003. In it’s early years, OTH struggled with ratings but managed to garner a large, strong and devoted fanbase. Viewers fell in love with; the deep, confused and skilled Lucas, the troubled Nathan, the ‘best friend’ with enough brains and kindess for the country, Haley, the ‘lonely cheerleader’, Peyton, and the slutty but lovable, Brooke.

Moderate your eating habits, and if you have a problem with eating too much, bring vegetables and fruits into the mix, and lose everything else.
Also, exersise. Not a lot, but just about 15 – 30 mins every night.

Good Luck and hope this helps
