Depending on where you live, there might be a cheerleading school or a summer program to help, but most likely you’d have to look in the area where you live. (In other words, it might not pop up on Google or Yahoo because it would be a small business or program.) Since it’s January I’m assuming you’re still in school, so talk to a coach or teacher about it and ask them who you should get into contact with. If you’re moving to a new school next year, then see if you can contact the person at that school who is in charge of that program. (Also, don’t be shy about having to approach adults about this – it would be worse to miss out on the chance than to have an awkward conversation!) Also, let your parents know you’re interested because you’ll need their support and they could help you get there!

How to teach myself to become a cheerleader?

Question by Miss: How to teach myself to become a cheerleader?
I’m really flexible and have always wanted to do the stunts, etc. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for me. My drawback is never having the opprotunity to try cheerleading, and and that I have broken my wrists a number of times and so am not as strong there as before (I’m working on it). For example how would i learn how to tumble? Thanks 🙂
Also any other activites or style of dance you think I may enjoy, I am 19.

How can I teach my sis to be a cheerleader?

Question by Joanne and Jasper 4ever!: How can I teach my sis to be a cheerleader?
I was once a cheerleader, but I just wasn’t good at it. I want her to be able to do what I couldn’t. She’s seven years old. Are there any cheerleaders out there that can give me some tips on helping her become a cheerleader.

(By the way, she wants to become a cheerleader, I’m not forcing her in any way!)

see if she can join an all star team nearby or a pop warner team. all stars will have coaches who have been through numerous training classes to learn how to teach to become an awesome cheerleader.
