Oldest NFL Cheerleader The Movie – Jennifer Aniston’s Next Role? (VIDEO) – The Stir (blog)

I know, I could be all cynical about this (and mention that 42 isn’t that old), but when you hear her story, how she was rocked when her husband left her and, on a whim, tried out for the cheerleading squad. She didn’t make it the first time at 39, …

Should I try out for the cheerleading squad next year?

Question by Chocolate for The Soul: Should I try out for the cheerleading squad next year?
I can do the motions, cartwheels, round-offs, and the cheers.
I’m working on my flips and handsprings.
Some girls say I should because I’m good, but some of the boys are mean about it and say “You have to look good to be in cheerleading.” I really want to. What do u think?
I’m pretty close to doing the splits too.

Should I try out for cheerleading or wait and see what happens next year?

Question by Jessy: Should I try out for cheerleading or wait and see what happens next year?
I’m in seventh grade, and I’m twelve. Wow, I’ve repeated that so many times on here. Anyway, cheerleading tryouts are coming up pretty soon. This week, actually. I’ve never been the type to want to try out. I never thought I would. My mom was a cheerleader long ago, so she’d really approve. I’d really like to do it, too! The only thing is, I don’t know what my friends would think. Now, I’m not the type to worry about what others think or really care, but all of my best friends think that cheerleaders are just annoying girls who scream and are stupid preps. It just doesn’t seem like me! Should I just go for it, even though I have no clue what I have to do at tryouts? Or should I ask anyone else if they’re trying out, too? If anyone has ever done cheerleading, what do you have to do in order to try out?
My friends don’t either.
They get so stuck up when it comes to what they call “preps”.

I say go for it! When I tried out when I was your age, we had to do three different types of jumps, a cheer with a group of about three other girls, and then a cheer by yourself. Im not sure how it is with your school though. Good luck if you decide to try out!!
