Im changing schools next yr. and i’m a freshman right now. How can i be a cheerleader?

My school right now doesn’t have sports and i want to play soccer and cheer.I know some girls from my middle school and elementary that go to high schools w/ cheer and sports and those girls that do cheer are going to be varsity next yr.
When i switch schools is there a chance i could be varsity or start like a freshman w/ freshman?
