Question by <3: Im changing schools next yr. and i’m a freshman right now. How can i be a cheerleader?
My school right now doesn’t have sports and i want to play soccer and cheer.I know some girls from my middle school and elementary that go to high schools w/ cheer and sports and those girls that do cheer are going to be varsity next yr.
When i switch schools is there a chance i could be varsity or start like a freshman w/ freshman?

Try out. And I doubt you’ll be varsity if you have never cheered.
make good friends with the cheerleading coach, do illegal things with him (or even better, her) and BAM youre in
Just listen to the announcements, talk to friends and teachers and see when try-outs are for sports. Just go out for try-outs and give it a try. Don’t be scared and give it all you got. Its really easy to get involved especially as a freshman! Good luck and don’t be scared or intimidated! Go for it!
Freshman squad is for freshman students. If you are a junior or senior in high school and make the cheerleading squad than you will be put on the Varsity. Varsity is a bit more complicated to get onto tho, considering they are more advanced than the freshman squad so you’d probably have to be pretty good.

If you know which school you are going to go to, BEFORE THIS school year ends, visit that school and tell them you want to try out for cheer for the following year.
I am not sure which order your sports are in, but usually soccer is a different season, so while you are attending school, they will announce when try outs are.
Definitely for cheer, check with the school since they usually have practice during the summer.
give the football team head before every game and you can do and be whatever you want.
