I made the cheerleading team and i want to get fit for it. What are some exercise to help me lose some weight to get strong abs and skinner thighs. Also some drills for jumps because me jumps are horrid. Thanks!

Running is the best thing you can do. I know it seems simple, but you are going to be doing tons of running anyways, so why not get a head start. Also as far as jumps go, do they butterfly streatch. & its going totake a long time to get your jumps to where you want the. Mine still aren’t perfect & I’ve been working on them for a year. So good luck. 🙂

Okay, I’m going to try out for cheerleading, and my friend told me that we’re gunna have to do a teddy jump and tryouts the only problem that i dont know what that is!!! Can someone please tell me what a teddy jump is, and clearly explain to me how you do it. And if you have any cheerleading tips for tryouts or anyother moves or things that I should know before i tryout please tell me. Thank you I really appreaticate it.
I have never cheerleaded before but im very flexible and a pretty good gymnast.

okay it’s like a straddle in the air or maybe you call it a buttler so do the cound-off 1-2,3-4,5-6 pop 7-8 then jump into at straddel

A herkie is where one leg is tucked behind you butt, and the other is where it would be if you would be doing a toe touch ( Out to the side)

In a hurdler, the leg that is out to the side in a herkie, is in front, like you are trying to kick your face
