I despise cheerleaders.Anyone who feels the need to parade half naked before the crowd & TV audience has a problem.That may seem old fashioned to young users, but it didn’t really happen when I was young & we didn’t have anywhere near the sexual assaults on females in those days of modesty.
Maybe I have gotten away from what you intended with your Q, but leaders of what?

    well,there have been male cheerleaders performing in the T20 WC as well as the IPL ftw
