I am a cheerleader at my school. I am a flyer and i want to know how to control my basket toss in the air with out shifting levels. I’d like to fix the problem before the upcoming compitition.

    Well I guess you had to post cheerleading under some sport. Its not like it has a category of its own-huh? I wonder why….maybe because it ISNT A SPORT!

    To start good luck with the comp, I was a coach at Mountain Veiw High School in Mesa az. To start to improve your scorpion the best suggestion i have is to relax your back muscles without relaxing the rest of your body esp your core tummy muscles and to use your shoulder muscles to pull your foot towards the ceiling. as for the toss make sure that your bases flick the wrists at the top so that they are giving you all the lift they can. without shifting ride the throw all the way to the top before punching into a toe touch, pike or whatever if you ride the toss and slowly move into the toe touch your weight will throw you back. hope i expalined that clearly and good luck. Go TOROS 3 time nationald championships and 5 in a row state champs something to be proud of!!!!
