Make sure you do a bridge stretch to stretch your back. You can do this by laying down on your back with your feet laying flat about 6 inches away from your butt. Your hands should be facing palms down on the floor by your ears. Push up into a position so that only your feet and hands are touching the ground. Hold for 15 seconds and then come down. Do this 3-5 more times.

Also, you want your leg to be higher in a scorpion so whatever leg you will be standing on while doing your scorpion should be the leg that you stretch the most. Keep stretching the standing leg so that you will be able to do the side split comfortably. For example, if your left foot will be on the ground while your right foot is in a scorpion you will want to have your left side split. Best of luck!

put a dog leash on your foot(the loopy end of course) grab the other end, then have someone hold your balance while you pull your foot into a scorpion position.

put your feet against a wall, bridge up, then walk your hands in as close to your feet as possible. then try to straighten your legs in the bridge. hurts like hell, but it works.

you usually stand on your right leg, so have your right leg splits.

stand like your in a scorpion, but instead of grabbing your foot, have your leg against the wall in the position.

lay on your stomach and put your arms behind your head. then have someone keep your feet together and also grab your arms and pull your torso up by them.

all these stretches hurt very badly, but if you do them a lot, then you will have an awesome scorpion to show off, plus a pretty nice scale, too!
