Q&A: Whats the difference between cheerleading a religion and living a religion?

Question by semi enlightened: Whats the difference between cheerleading a religion and living a religion?
If we cheerlead the religion, do we really gain anything in life? Wouldnt that be living in a World of fantasy? Can we impartially judge the depths of our beliefs?
