I don’t see any difference. Maybe poms might be considered the dance team in some schools.

Question by Courtney: How do you make cheerleading pom poms fluffy again?
I’m a cheerleader and I’ve had these pom poms for a little under a year. They look really old and I don’t want to pay $ 40 for another pair! How do I fluff them?

Yuck I know what you mean! Well my friends would always come to games with poms that looked so nice and new and I always wondered how they did that, then they told me that they put them in the dryer! Up in till now, I thought they would melt but then I realized you can just to the tumble dry(if thats the one that doesnt use heat).

So maybe you should just try that!! 😛

Q&A: How do I make my plastic cheerleader pom poms puffy again?

Question by LadyLauren: How do I make my plastic cheerleader pom poms puffy again?
I’ve only used them twice before but clearly they frizzled and crinkled and are now so flat. They are white and are thin shredded plastic. Need them for the game tonight! EMERGENCY!!!

I’m not sure if they’re the same as the ones I used when I did Cheerleading.
But when mine were flat I just to shake them, alot! Also, run your fingers through the plastic, making sure it’s not stuck together and just sort of.. ruffle it about (It’s really hard to explain sorry lol)

And I’m sure people won’t notice too much. Afterall, you don’t hold them still that much, do you?

Oh, and good luck at your game! xx
