I’ve done gymnastics since I was little, and also did swim team. Recently, I quit gymnastics, and decided to do cheerleading. Now all my friends are mocking me for it. It gets really annoying after a while. What should I do?

No I don’t mean a buxom tweenie yelling your name while you kick a ball. What I mean is the stay at home woman who does all the household chores and tells you how wonderful you are, keeps the place tidy. Looks demure and attractive when friends come round so they all say how nice she is. Builds you up 24/7. That is what I mean by cheerleader.

I’m a guy and I want to join the cheerleading squad. However, they won’t let me join. I don’t mean to like sound cocky, but I’ve been in gymnastics for over ten years and I’ve competed at national level so it’s not like I don’t have experience and I’m just bad at it. They said they don’t have places for guys on the team but there’s nothing in the school rules that says guys can’t join.

no they cant do that. there are tons of guys on cheerleading squads. it it is wrong of them to not let you tryout and be on the squad

When ever i spend the night over my friends house they always talk about how being a cheerleader is dumb. And i try to explain to them that it’s not dumb to me but they won’t listen. How do I make them understand that cheerleading is much more than being preppy it’s actually hard work. It’s alot harder than all of the other sports at school

Sorry. At best, it is a combination synchronized gymnastic and dance competition where a judge’s “opinion” decides who is most popular.
Real sports are not decided by judges. They use unambiguous points or carefully measured times/distances.
