How to get in Cheerleader shape?

Question by Sunny: How to get in Cheerleader shape?
I am 5’4 and about 125-130 pounds (female) and I really need some HARDCORE exercises to get me into tip top shape!

Time isnt a problem and i am willing to do anything except for tumbling and stunts.
I just want the body not the whole cheerleading thing.
PLEASE HELP!

So you want to look like a cheerleader but you don’t want to be one? Cheerleaders (like all people) come in all shapes and sizes, so you could technically already look like one..

    i am a cheerleader and not all of us are in shape, lol, but i know what u mean. try the elliptical or just go running. u seem healthy now though so i wouldn’t go anorexic or anything (trust me, i know alot of girls on my team starve themselves and its not pretty, this one girl fainted in a hard stunt because she hadn’t eaten in 3 days and still came to practice. guess wat? she hit 3 other girls, went to the hospital, and was removed from the squad.) so just run, run, and run, with some situps. my team does this conditioning thing where we do crunches for a whole song, really fast and hard…it totally hurts!

  2. Don't Loose Hope.

    Here is a good fitness plan I use-
    Holding the plank position for 10 minutes in sets
    Lifting 4lbs dumbbells when you watch TV or play on the computer
    4 sets of 15 crunches
    4 sets of frog jumps (google has examples I bet.)
    10 sets of 10 pushups
    10 sets of 10 leg lifts (You don’t need to complete all of these)
    And running/jogging/sprinting/walking
    And training flexibility.

    It’s not going to be easy to gain all of this muscle and maybe to loose some body fat percentages if you need to,
    but it will pay off someday! 🙂
