Question by Kaitlen: How do I get into Cheerleader shape?
I havent cheered in seriously YEARS. And im wanting to get back into shape. I know dieting to. But what kind of work outs. And I mean Vigourous workouts everyday. Stuff to really work my body

go running everyday.
maybe take up gymnastics?
if you check out the seventeen magazines or
go to seventeen.com
they have tons of work outs there
you can do push ups, lift weights, crunches, etc.

    cardiac..doing exercises that get your heart beating….jogging always works..or if you’re at home, do some jumping jacks…that s all i have!

    You are going to need strength and endurance so I would suggest you start running daily and adding a workout with weights for strength. Especially if you are a base for stunting. You will want strong arms. Add some sit ups and crunches so you will feel comfortable in a uniform.
    Also, if it has been a long time since you cheered, you might consider getting into a tumbling class to work on your back hand spring and full-tuck. A dance class might also be helpful. Good luck.
