How can I get my scorpion in cheerleading?

Question by The Energizer Bunny: How can I get my scorpion in cheerleading?
I want to get my scorpion. I’m having trouble. I know that I need to pull my right leg up, but I keep grabbing my right foot/ankle with my right hand and it doesn’t seem to work. I get it up a little bit, but I can’t get my left arm up to grab my leg. Is there another way to get it?

    you probably need ot stretch more
    try doing scissor splits and bringing you leg up into the scorpion form

    get in your split the front leg should be the one you plan to step on and the back leg should be the one your going to pull up into a scorpion reach back for your back leg… another thing is grab a rope of some sort and stretch that back leg up with your rope around your foot…

    you should try to strech a lot because your probably not used to it sit and reach, splits, or kart wheels
