To get your jumps higher just do them over and over again KEEP PRACTICING and make sure you stretch A LOT! before you start and make sure you have the correct form for the jump. It will help you get more height in your jumps and they will be prettier!(:
Another thing that can help you to get your jumps higher is this jump exercise: swing your arms (exatly like you would before doing a toe-touch) and instead of bringing your legs out into a strattle(toe-touch) keep them together, pointing straight down at the floor, jump up and make sure your arms are locked and your toes are pointed! The more you do this the higher you will go with your jumps! &Good Luck!!(:

If you want to get your jumps higher, you need to stretch everyday! Try stretching while watching t.v. when commercials pop up.. this can save time. For a higher toe touch, sit in a straddle position on the floor and reach in front of you, and go down as far as you can – this will progress the more you stretch. Try going down on both legs this will also help. A trick that make your toe touches look higher, is to put your arms in a T formation but slightly lower to where your thighs are when you jump – this will make it look like your legs are going over your arms, but if your jumps just aren’t hitting enough don’t try to over exaggerate when you do this. Make sure you’re not bringing your chest down when you jump, and to snap down when you land – this will make it look cleaner. If you want a higher pike, sit in a pike position on the floor and reach down as far as you can. Again, don’t bring your chest down; bring your legs to your chest. For hurdlers, stretch both you’re splits & try to go down as far as possible. The main key is to STRETCH 24/7!! I hope this helps you(:
