How can I get in shape to start cheerleading?

Question by ★♥ KillerBea ♥★: How can I get in shape to start cheerleading?
Ok I’m trying out for a college cheerleading squad in 4 weeks, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for getting into the best shape I can for it?
I know it’s short notice and I don’t have much time to prepare, but I want to do everything I can to be in the best shape I can?!
What exercises should I do, and what inparticular should I concentrate on?

well concentrate on your abdomanales and your arms and legs practice moves go through cheers over and over again if you have any friends that are trying out to then practice move and exercise with them

    It would have been better if you started getting ready for cheer LAST month so you have more time, but here’s what you can do…
    Drink plenty of water
    Start a diet and exercize regimen
    Watch tv and go on the computer less
    Join a gym
    Things like that will get you in shape in no time! ^_^

    im an allstar cheerleader i cheer for east elite. check out their website eastelite.com
    but during practices for conditioning we do crunches which is simply lying on your back and moving half way up not all the way up like a sit up. then we lay on our backs and put our feet in the air and bring them as close to the ground as you can with out touch it. and we will put our hands on something the makes it as if we were sitting and dip up and down hope i helped
