    yeah go for it…14 is still really young geez….if you like it you can continue with it until the end of your high school years!….Its never too late to try something different, esp at 14! Good luck!

    I was never a cheerleader, but i do have a friend who started at 17 and now cheer leads for a drum band called Blue Devils, very popular marching band and VERY high pay, it is never to late to start, give it a try you have nothing to lose besides the opportunity of you maybe becoming a great cheerleader or maybe even a dancer.
    May God be with you
    Good Luck
    Stay Healthy My friends

    Wow, you will NOT become a slut if your a cheerleaders. its just a lot of sluts join the team:P my sisters both did cheer and they are no where near sluts (both in 20’s and still virgins) so suck it.

    Yes!(: I’m starting cheer next sem and i’m 15. they started at about 13/14

    they both had a lot of fun, my friend just joined cheer too and loves it.

    @Badri – shut up.

    Go for it! I’m a cheerleader, and trying out was the best thing I ever did. I tried out in 2nd grade, and basically they just picked the cute kids who could yell loud 😛 I gets a lot more intense when you get older. It matters if you’re competiting or not, though. If you are, I suggest that you stretch every day until you join. Even if it’s just for a few minutes when you wake up and before you go to bed. It not only helps you become more flexible, but I cannot describe how great I feel after stretching for five minutes or so. Anyhow… Go for it… You’ll be glad that you did.
