    Activision’s “The Movies” and “The Movies” Stunts and Effects” Expansion have been available since, what, 2005?

    The base game is like Sim[Fill in the Blank] … you run a Movie Studio, and you manage it, and make movies to make money … but you can actually MAKE the movies using the tools provided, which get more and more sophisticated as the game moves forward through time.

    If you’re interested, its probably available in your nearest Electronics Boutique store’s bargain bin!

    So what’s this “The Movies” program? I’ve seen some clips made from it before, though I never knew what was used to produce them (and yeah, I thought it was the Sims too).

    Cliches. Yeah, prob’ly. Like most Hollywood movies, I guess.

    The Sims? Nah, its from “The Movies”, which is, afaict, nothing at all, not even vaguely, like “The Sims” … and that is stated *explicitly* … but obviously you didn’t (bother to?) read that …

    The only good thing about your comments is that it makes it plain that they were worthless and ill-thought out in the first place, so I can ignore them in good conscience.

    Because it is such a sad collection of clichés, because of the elevator music, because of the lame scenario, because of the animation, a “copy/paste” directly from “The Sims”, because of the “dialog” (or human noise in a loop, if you prefer)… I stumbled across that by mistake, and didn’t even care to watch the “sequels”…. Yep: boring… I’d rather watch paint dry. Or grass grow. More exciting…
