  1. Teezy =D

Ok I LOVE WHEN SOMEONE ASK THIS QUESTION!!! I used wonder the same thing over and onver until finally Im like its all stretching really! Daily—-To improve your overall jumps trying straddling(v sit) on the ground and lean in each direction for at least 40-60 seconds. Good jumps are usually when your legs go pretty high. To improve the height of your jumps try doing a few high kicks daily so when you preform your jumps it will get easier to lift those legs nicely into the air! Make sure you stay tight when excuting the jumps it will make them look alot cleaner. For the splits- its nothing but a stretch really.Just keep trying your split and how ever low you get hold it for a minute and your split will eventually get lower

    Stretch a lot!!!

Hold your splits for as long as you can!!

Remember to hit your motions strong and sharp when you tryout.

Be VERY spirited but don’t WOO.

    Good Luck!

The best thing to do is STRETCH! Everyday! Stretch your straddle, splits, frog sits, and everything. Also, condition. Search for conditioning exercises on google. If you aren’t well conditioned, you wont be doing as great of jumps as you are capable of doing.

Good luck! Remember, smile and have a good attitude at tryouts!

Stretch! And it helps if you do crunches, your abs actually help you pull your legs up higher. There is this one stretch that my team does before competitions. We called it a “Wall Sit”. You get into a pike position with your back on the floor and your legs up against and parallel to the wall. Then…you do a split (even if you can’t do one, just let your legs go as far as you can). Just let your legs go and let gravity stretch your legs for you. It hurts, but it hurts worse if you try to hold your legs up. YOU MUST STRETCH BEFORE THIS THOUGH! It makes my jumps 10X better than they were before. When I get up, it feels like my legs are really light…and they’re really NOT! =]] Hope this helps! Good Luck!
