Well since you’re trying out in June, you have plenty of time to practice!im cheer captain and i host try outs….at some school they have a clinic you go to and learn a few cheers and jumps and that’s what they judge you on.but just in case i suggest you learn a good cheer with lots of jumps and be VERY LOUD!as for the jumps…when you do a pike you go: 1clap 2 high V 3 around(circle arms behind shoulders hand together)4 and feet together ….jump!i may be wrong a little bc we don’t do pikes!hope i helped!

    Definitely practice, practice, practice!
If you can’t do a split, start stretching every night.
You should have your splits in a few months.
**The best tip is to pick your favorite song & stretch to each side of your split for the full song.
Work on tight cheerleading motions and tight cheerleading claps.
Practice your toe touch, pike, hurkey, etc.

If you have any tumbling, practice that!
    Practice being LOUD and PEPPY!
