I’m interested in it. 🙂 Anyone know about it?
I mean the cheerleaders that performed in the very beginning?

They usually ask/recruit specific school teams to participate.

There are many ways. Some teams get to because they competed and someone from Macy’s saw them and wanted them. But there are also cheer camps that are held and the best team from there gets to go and perform at the parade. Also like the first guy said, they find teams that they know are good and recruit them.
If your school hires UCA to coach you at camp they pick individuals to perform
