@emusic4life21 I see you’re point. I hate it when people base their opinions on those kind of teams. But I’m glad you see the actual thing. We’ve been debating if we (at our school) should do that, but some of the B-Ball players were gymnasts when they were little. But most of them think it’s a sport anyway.

I defintly respect the actual cheering part of cheering and the hard work, but the ones at my school cant even do cartwheels, they cheer during foul shots, and they tell us that basketball isnt as hard as cheering and we wouldnt last a day in their practice. so they showed us everything they did and it was easy. then we showed them what we do in basketball and they didnt make it but still they talk crap, so yes cheerleaders work hard, but mine dont.

i love cheerleading. its hard wok. cheerleaders are strong. they pick people up. due if u say its not a sport then u blind nd dnt know wat a sport is. am a cheerleader nd am a flyer. when people to a dismount. its the flyers job to stay in place so dat the dnt fall. who ever says dat cheerleading isnt a sport doesnt know wat a spor is.

Before watching this video I will admit that I wasnt to keen about cheerleading but watching this video really has changed my perspective on cheerleading. Now I see what the girls go through at my school. Cheerleading is harder than it looks. Cheerleaders go through pain and tears but in the end it would be worth it knowing that you hit your skills and routine. Kudos to cheerleaders, you guys are defintely athletes anyone that doesnt think so can STUFF IT.

the cheer leaders in my city suck! my sis was a soccer player and when they made then run laps the soccer team would go out and make fun of them, they wouldnt have done tht if they wer actualy good BUT THEY SUCK!!!

my best friend’s a cheerleader and before she joined the squad, i was biased about it, thinking it was a bunch of girly girls just dancing on the football field. but seeing what my best friend goes through every day and all the conditioning she has to put up with makes me think of it differently. not everyone will agree that its a real sport and yes, many other sports require even more hard work, but it doesn’t make cheerleading any easier. i’m proud of my best friend 🙂

I feel so VERY bad for 2 girls in the beginning that fell. Damn poor girl! I really hope she recovers well. I now have a different out look on cheerleading. I use to look at them and say they’re hot, but now I know the hard work they put into it.

To be the BEST you Must go through all that pain and when your training it goes through your mind ” WHY DO WE DO THIS??” and when you win all them 1st places it DEFINALTLY PAYS OFF TRUST ME IM IN A SQUAD AND OUR COACH IS SOOOO HARD ON US BUT THEN WE GO TO THE COMPS AND WIN EVERY CATAGORY WE ARE ENTERED IN WE REALISE SHE ONLY WANTS US TO COME OUT WITH THE BEST RESULTS XXX

before i joined cheerleading i thought it was easy, but after i did i realized it wasnt. It takes a lot of practice and hard work. Sometimes i get so fustrated when I cant do something that I just want to cry, but i just keep working hard. When i first started my toe touches were like an inch above the ground, now its high, I was SO happy. After you work so hard to do something and you finally nail it, it makes it so much more special. And i have to be honest when ppl say its easy it hurts.

at all hobbies you want to do is hard training normal, at gymnastics too…..
pain and frustration are normal….you must learn really hard at being good at these sport….and it is normal that you must learn you coudn’t do all stunts at the beginning…..all hobbies includes; hard work, pain and frustration….. ( sorry for the bad grammar, I’m from Germandy ) 😉
