People who are possibly narcissitic in nature because they deny their true identities.
They are ordinary people who just can do flips and yell. lol.
I was one.and my favorite thing was the connection you got with other cheerleaders. you came reallyclose to them, kinda like sisters.
Least favorite thing was probably the late after school practices that lasted sometimes to 8 oclock…5 days a week.

I was a cheerleader throughout grade school and college. My favorite thing was the uniform and pom poms my least favorite was wedgies!

I’d never be one myself… But a relative of mine is a cheerleader/dancer and she loves it… she doesn’t fit the stereotypes of a typical cheerleader at all. So IN GENERAL cheerleaders seem stupid, but some of them are OK. You just have to get to know them, I guess.

Im a cheerleader, the thing I like most is going to watch the game and cheer the guys on. Also getting to perform at halftime. I like the fact that it boost my confidence being that Im a shy girl seriously.
The worst thing are the stereotypes. Like being dumb abd easy. Im a 17 year old virgin and I stay in Advanced classes. I dont want people to percieve me as a dumb cheerleader. I also dont like the fact that guys will hit on me just because Im a cheerleader. Not all cheerleaders are sluts. I dont go around asking for the attention. I rather get recongonized for the community invovlment that I do.
But hey I love the SPORT and I love to compete. Cheerleading isnt for everyone. I hope my piece really helped you.

Type SOUTH PANOLA in the search bar and click either video to see their national routine for this year. Off the mat i don’t have any problem with them. At our school they don’t act like your average cheerleaders. Most of the time you wouldn’t even believe that they were cheerleaders. On the mat, i don’t think many of them can throw a full. They take their tumbling days on the same days that i take my gymnastics & tumbling and they get so mad at me because i can throw a full and they can’t. Its the funniest thing in the world to me because i get to tease them that a football player can throw a full and a cheerleader can’t.

I think cheerleaders are just like anyone else. A lot of people dont think cheering is a sport, well… there wrong, it is a sport and we work harder than any other sport. It is sooo much fun!!! Expecially when you go out and are good or loud, then u feel really good about urself!!!
I think the best part is putting girls in stunts (when girls are up in the air) it is such a relief when we get it all done and threw….

There’s a stereotype of cheerleaders–the hottest girls in schools, who flirt with teachers to get decent grades. They’re also notoriously slutty.
The stereotype is incorrect, since most high school cheerleaders aren’t necessarily hot, cause the cheer coaches are looking to see if those girls know their gymnastics, not if they know how to put on enough make up. Some of them are hot, but they themselves aren’t drop dead gorgeous.
Flirting with the teachers is also incorrect too, cause teachers aren’t that desperate, especially if they are married.
But what is true about cheerleaders, is they they are very manipulative, and they know how to get their way, and they’re skilled at getting their way. They’re archetypal A class females…then there’s also the dumb lot, who are to dumb to manipulate a blind kid with crutches.
That they are normal people. I love the competitions and how it looks in the end and probably the large amount of time it consumes.
