I really hope you are not insinuating in any way shape or form that the UT Men’s basketball team is dominant. They are not even considered “Elite.”
The women’s team of course is a different animal. Summitt is a beast and the greatest WOMEN’S coach ever. The men’s team has been historically mediocre.

SHE IS THE BEST COACH EVER!! I’m a kentuky fan though so whenever they play against each other like if the women play I have to go for Pat Summit. Then when the Men play. I can’t stand Bruce Pearl so I have to go with Billy G.

I am a die hard Bama fan but pat Summitt makes me love Lady Vol basketball…she’s won 8 national championships, 13 sec championships and she’s coaching for her 1000th Lady Vol win tomorrow night, Pat Summitt is just simply the greatest coach ever
As a Bama fan, these transfers and quittings mean NOTHING. A good coach pushes his/her players to the max. Bear Bryant took was known as a strict, harsh, tough disciplinarian and a badass. I think Summitt is tough, relentless and can squeeze every drop of potential out of already amazing athletes. And she obvously loves the team. She is a class act, and obviously acting 14 in this video, hat’s off to Coach Summitt, maybe someday we’ll beat the Lady Vols (and i can win the lottery)
Man I love going here in basketball season. Maybe a select few schools can challenge our dominance in men’s AND women’s basketball…but the spirit and between the two teams makes Tennessee the place to be. Been a great four years guys sorry I have to graduate :/
