Running is the best thing you can do. I know it seems simple, but you are going to be doing tons of running anyways, so why not get a head start. Also as far as jumps go, do they butterfly streatch. & its going totake a long time to get your jumps to where you want the. Mine still aren’t perfect & I’ve been working on them for a year. So good luck. πŸ™‚

I am a cheerleader for my school. How would I go about finding someone to sponsor the team?

Question by tyrone valentine: I am a cheerleader for my school. How would I go about finding someone to sponsor the team?

We are the cheerleaders for Lincoln University of PAand we do not receive a lot of support from the school, since we are not considered an official sport under athletic regulations. We are in a very, very rural area and there are very few local places.

Is it okay for someone to be a wrestler and a cheerleader?

Question by NicoleIsCutee(:: Is it okay for someone to be a wrestler and a cheerleader?
Well see, I’m a basketball and football cheerleader at my school but I’m also the varsity 112 for ny schools wrestling team, and the boys soccer manager. Is that too much of a mix for one girl? Some one told me today I should pick one thing and stick with it but I dunno what to pick or if it would be okay to keep doing what I’m doing. Help… please?

No one can help you with choosing because no one knows you on this. but you need to really think about what you like the most and stick with it. I mean do all of them if its not to much stress on you but you probably do need to pick one and If i were you i would go with something that has a future and money. good luck with whatever you pick.

How do you get someone to not fly in a cheerleading stunt?

Question by Kaili: How do you get someone to not fly in a cheerleading stunt?
There is this girl on our cheerleading team who we dont like and she is a flyer. But she weighs like 4000000 pounds. There is this other girl on the team who isnt flying but is only like 65 pounds! And she is REALLY good. We try telling the coches to replace the fat larg with the better flyer but they wont listen. We need a plan for how to get her too fly.

Sounds to me like the team has a problem not the flyer. How rude of you to say that she weighs 4000000 pounds. No wonder your stunts are not going as much as you all dislike her she probably doesn’t trust you. I have a feeling that the rest of the squad talks behind her back and puts her down. If you were my team I would ground you. No stunting at all. My best flyer was a larger girl because she knew how to hold her weight when she was in the air. I don’t care how small you are if you can not hold your weight properly you also could feel like “4000000 pounds” Most coaches have gone to trainings and gotten certifications so that they can coach. Most coaches know what they are doing and have reasons for doing it. Let them coach. Sounds like you all need some team bonding and maybe a sit down talk things out sessions. With the whole team coaches included. I feel you are being to harsh on the girl you don’t like.

Can we use the word cheerleader for someone who trolling in Internet forum?

Question by DeepBlueuOcean: Can we use the word cheerleader for someone who trolling in Internet forum?
I meant he support the people that he agree with, but he never really involved in the discussion, but only to insult the opponent and to praise the people that he agree with.

Can I say this to him: “Being cheerleader in this thread is safer for someone like you, it can save your from further emberassment”.

Can you make such a similar statement?

as a past cheerleader and coach….I can’t grasp the connection here!

if he isn’t involved in the discussion, then he isn’t a participant.
likewise, if he is insulting one party and agreeing with the other, he is just expressing his feelings. This is life. We don’t have to agree with everything that we here….but we shouldn’t insult people either!!!

Here is where I don’t get the connection…..

Cheerleaders, by definition, are very involved participants. They do not insult the opponent, but cheer for their team. And, I might add cheer loudly for what they believe in. They are ambassodors of the school and therefore would not insult other schools with adverse behaviors.

So to call this person a cheerleader, would not be accurate.
