I need help with a jingle for my high school cheerleader?

Question by college@44: I need help with a jingle for my high school cheerleader?
my daughter Cadie is a freshman cheerleader this year and I have to come up with a jingle for her program. This is what I have started. From tiara’s to pom poms, we’ve always cheered you on. She has numerous queen titles so this is where i would like to build from. Can any one seriously help me finish this? I want it to be cute and catchy. Remember, it goes into a high school program so no vulgarity please.

I’d really like to help you with this, but I’m not sure I understand exactly what you’re looking for. Most cheers should refer to the team they are cheering for, so I’d need the name. Also, your starting phrase is difficult because the rhythm is uneven. A cheer needs to have a punchy rhythm and would rarely include a three syllable word like tiara, unless the team name is a 3 syl word.

That’s if I am not confused about what you want. If you are looking for a jingle like an ad to say that you have a great group of cheerleaders, I’d probably change the first part to “From short skirts to pompoms, ” and then add something like… No, that still doesn’t do it. It just sounds like the cheerleaders are cheering for themselves. Maybe, “We may be up here, but you help us cheer!” Or “make us cheer”. Or “You’re why we cheer”. Yeah, I like that best. “We may be up here, but you’re why we cheer!”

If you want, you can email me if I’ve misunderstood.
