Question by Andy P: Does anyone know a good prgram for making cheerleading mixes with the sounds and effects that i can download?
I need to make cheerleading mixes for my team for the routines that we do. I’m looking for a prgram that I can download online that will allow me to edit music, add effects, and burn to a cd.

There are some free SFX online but they are mostly things like cars screeching, or bells ringing, etc. Not really the standard cheer SFX, which could be good if you want to try something different.

Does your editing program not offer backbeats or is the variety too limited? You can buy SFX sets from pro DJs but they are not cheap. (Loest is $ 20 or so) http://www.cheermusicstore.com/index.php?cPath=24&osCsid=201cf111866156030e064474b72ee30e

I use this service and just mostly used the premixed music, which I put together in combinations that I like. I use Magix to put it all together, but if you don’t have a program yet and think you would like to buy music and SFX from the site above, get Sony’s Acid (even if it’s just the trial version.) The DJ uses Acid Pro and so any sony acid FX will supposedly automatically fit itself into the tempo of your mix.
