What do you think? Answer below!
You should try to take a gymnastics class if possible. Gymnastics skills are a MAJOR part of cheerleading and will help you out a lot. Also, try stretching a couple of times a day. The more you stretch, the more flexible you will become. You could try taking a stretch class, most dance studios and gyms have them!
Good luck!
you dont have to be that flexible as long as you can do russians. you need to be able to do different jumps and be able to tumble
You can find out how to get flexible and learn cheering jumps, motions, tumbling drills, and dances here: http://aescougarcheer.com/Cheer101/basics.htm
I highly recommend signing up for tumbling classes as well.
Good luck! :^)
