Honestly, be yourself. When you see her at her locker just go up and say hi. Then ask her if she is busy this weekend, and if not you were wondering if she wanted to do something.
I know it’s nerve racking, but it’ll be fine.
Don’t let her being a cheerleader intimidate you.

But honestly, just do it.

Just do it, and if she says no, get on with you life.
If you are shy you could write her a note and put it in her locker explaining how you feel. That way she would not reject you right to your face. Or if you have the guts just ask her what she is doing this weekend.
