When you try out for cheerleading,
do they make everyone do the cheer/dance individually,
or do they have you do it everyone at once?

They do both.

It depends, usually they do some sort of combination. My advice is when they teach you the dance, right it down by 8-count in a notebook so you can practice it at home and feel comfortable whether you’re with a group or by yourself. Good luck!
