When will the press start doing its job and stop the cheerleading for Obama?

Question by Mr. Bugsme: When will the press start doing its job and stop the cheerleading for Obama?
This guy has skeletons in his closet, but they don’t delve into that.
MSNBC was – and is – the worst. Keith Olbermann would literally love to lick Obama’s shoes. I hate that. Not even the pretense of being objective.
Hillary is better prepared to be President now. Obama is an attractive candidate and may be ready after a full term or two in the Senate – but he’s not ready now. She is, by far, the better choice. I’m glad I voted for her in Texas today.

good question….I think it’s because they are afraid they will be thought of as being racist. they refer to him as african american and he isn’t…he is bi-racial and there is a difference.

msnbc has already toned down its obama enthusiasm..probably because their ratings went down the toilet while they were cheerleading him…but its still obvious who some of those show hosts support

I been disappoint in Tim Russert for making such wild statements about the election. He says Obama is winning big time, well the race is close. He needs to check hsi superlatives at the door and report the facts.

That is one thing I don`t understand, why do they cheer for him so much. It won`t be long before all the skeletons come out, and when they do what will his supporters think about him then.
ALL TALK AND NO ACTION MAKES FOR ONE DULL CANDIDATE…..

Actually what makes Obama an attractive candidate is the lack of skeletons in his closet. Even if your right and the press is united in their support of Obama and determination to reveal nothing of any past indiscretions, do you honestly believe Hillary and Bill Clinton are also on that band wagon? Hillary’s campaign spends as much as 20 million dollars a month. For 20 million dollars can one afford a private investigator or two? If she hasn’t found any serious skeletons in Obama’s closet then perhaps there are none, and if we actually have a candidate for president who doesn’t have a past riddled with scandal and lies then why shouldn’t the press support him?

    Hello. I totally agree.
Did you here about his cocain and BJ from that gay guy.

The press covers up his mess of a wife too.
It’s a shame. Hillary could fart in the wrong direction, and it would be TOP fricken story.

because the most voters are dumb. they dont really understand the issues. when hillary gets into specifics of the issues, the average dumb voter gets bored. As we have seen, most obama supporters dont know anything about his record.Words over actions, CHANGE—-ok….elaborate. RATINGS ARE GOOD FOR RHETORIC

You don’t need to start whining not, just wait until President Obama gets elected on November 4, 2008. You will have the next 8-9 years to whine. We Liberals can’t wait.
