wow I’m in 8th grade too and I’m just gonna tell you some tips for cheerleading that help a lot!

Stretching-here is a stretching routine that help relieve pain and makes you very flexible

soaking in a hot bubble bath will help and relax your muscles only momentarily so do that and then after stretch every single day until the next practice and you will definitely get use to it if you do it everyday and do the same routine for example this is what i do every day and my muscles feel so much better when i get back from cheer! p.s your not gonna fully get the pain away but this is how u can get most of it.
1-straddle: stretch toward left right and center
2-pike: grab ankles and put belly to your knees
3-Right lunge: got into right lunge as far as possible
4-Right split: go from your right lunge to your right split
    5-repeat 3-4 on left leg
6-bridge up: go into your bridge and stay for 15 long seconds and come down to rock and roll

this will help with a lot of things!

and also a really good song to use for routines is “they don’t dance no mo” by goodie mobb it talks about people don’t dance no more they cheerlead it’s a good song for cheerleading good luck
