Olympic gymnastics is the answer to your prayers. 🙂 This will take your cheerleading to a whole new level, guess that Ballet would also help you out. I am no expert on this matter so just wanna point out things that might help you.

It seems like you are a very athletic girl, therefore you know the dedication involved in being in a sport. As an experienced cheerleader, I suggest doing at-home activities. This sounds too simple to be true, but it is. Get yourself in a routine.

For myself, I often go for about a 15 minute run everyday. When I get home, I usually stretch for about half an hour. A little bit each day is going to improve your skills HUGELY.

To get impressive jumps make sure you focus on stretching your splits. To make your jumps higher, make sure you are light on your feet, and pull up with your shoulders alot when you are jumping. Also, LAND ON YOUR TOES so you don’t sound like an elephant when you land.

Tumbling classes will be great, and if you want to improve your flexibility, I would consider some yoga classes.

Like I said though, at-home things are very effective and it doesn’t cost a dime.

    Good luck!
