Ok so I want to try out for a nfl cheerleading team! I took a dance class when I was 15, and I know the basics, is it possible or to late for me to learn EVERYTHING I need to know about dancing by the end of February?

I think you should go for it. Even if you don’t make it, it will still be a good experience.
Just try hard, and don’t give up!

Sure! Just practice maybe one hour a day five days a week. Maybe take some dance classes because you can some great dance moves you can use in cheer-leading during dance. Also another strategy is try dancing in extremely tight outfits! But you can defiantly still do that if you want! It makes me happy to know that one more person wants to dance in their life! Good luck!

You can definitely cheer lead, but not likely at the NFL or NBA level. Professional cheerleaders have at least 10-15 years of dance/cheer/gymnastics experience under their belts. Most cheer led in high school/college, or were a member of a college-level dance team. Go to any NFL cheerleader website and read the bios. Some also cheered for a semi-pro team first (indoor soccer, lacrosse, AFL, etc.). Nearly In addition, NFL/NBA cheerleaders are required to either be in college, or gainfully employed. My advice is that you try to cheer lead at the college level first, along with taking lots of dance classes. Gaining that experience will make you a more competitive candidate.
