How do I become a power-tumbler in cheerleading?

Question by MLDx3: How do I become a power-tumbler in cheerleading?
Im already a decent tumbler, I can do a standing tuck and a full (and anything up to those) and I’m working standing fulls, and doubles, but how do I become one of those crazy power tumblers you see on Top Gun and Cheer Extreme? Please give me a lot of tips. Thanks

Well for one practice practice practice. maybe extend your lesson hours and work really hard. also it takes alot of stregth so keep working on that. and also its all about being ungracefull. haha just kidding. no but you have to be extremly tight and fast those are the main point.

    PROGRESSION PROGRESSION PROGRESSION!!!!! as a judge and an instructor i see so many athletes try to be such crazy tumblers and many just skip steps and this year ive seen more knee braces than all other years! Just be safe and be careful.. add more gym time in your schedule and just don’t get stressed out.. work hard and Always stay positive! Great luck and just go for it (safely)
