Question by Jazz: Do you have to be very flexible in order to be a cheerleader?
Im thinking of trying out for cheerleading next year but I have no idea what to expect.I’ve attended dance classes many time such as ballet.
But what should I do in order to get into cheerleading?Do I have to be VERY flexible?
im gona be in high school next year and am some what felxible already
ahahaha first of all no I dont want to loose weight I’m 5’2” and weigh 102 lb

    Well, it helps to be flexible in cheer leading, but if you aren’t, you can probably make as a person who does the cheers and catches, but maybe not as a flier or a high kick somersault girl.

    It also depends on where you are cheering. if your at school and your school isn’t really into the whole cheer thing and you are just there cheering at the games, then probably not, but if you are really into it, then you can always stretch and stretch until you get flexible. Not a lot of people are born flexible! Good luck!

    ummm it all depends on what your going to do like being tossed up in the air, flipping, cartwheels the whole 9 yards but one of my friends is a cheerleader and shes not real FLEXIBLE and shes a good cheer person!!!!
