I have never done cheerleading before and im kind of over weight do you know if you have to be really thin or can you be a little over weight. Also do you have a tips for a newbie?

who cares if your over weight.. as long as you have the spirit and the right positive attitude the Skye’s yours =]
umm some tips lets see..
go in there with a Smile on your face! always simle even when it hurts .. and Practice practice practicei hope you make the team!

    well it dont matter how much you way, it matters how good you are and how loud. Try your best and if you dont make it maybe you were not meant to be a cheerleader then. GOOD LUCK=D

    you dont have to be thin….as long as your good and energetic then you’ll be fine!

    some tips would be to go to a local allstar cheer gym or a gymnastics gym and take tumbling lessons. another would be to work on your jumps and work on tight motions!!!

    well, like for a pyramid, u might have 2 lose some weight if ur on the top. the cheerleaders carrying u might say stuff about ur weight

    i have a friend who’s overweight & she’s in all star cheer!

    & i dont have a lot of tips because im actually tryin out for the first time in a couple days lol
    but just smile, be loud, & be confident.
