Question by cheer Mom: What are the rules for cheerleading at high school level? Can they cheer for more than 4 years?
My cousins daughter was in the 8th grade and was asked to move up and cheer competition squad with the Freshman Cheerleaders at Jamfest. Will this count at one year of High school cheerleading? Will she be able to cheer all 5 years thru her senior year as well? Can someone send me the rules on eligiblity and number of years permitted to cheer at high school level? I have searched every where I can think of. Thank You!!

A child can participant for five years on a varsity team. I suggest you check out www.varsity.com I find it to be a very informative site when my girls started cheering, and still do.
