Do you mean starting one or getting picked for the team?
Be or find girls that are peppy, cute, and flexible, but also nice and willing to work hard.
PROS: gets you in shape, fun to do
CONS: labeled as a robot or a sellout, dangerous, not all that athletic of a “sport”
What do you think? Answer below!
Gets you labeled as a prep but by your name I don’t think you care. lol
If you mean your picking people to be on your squad, I would make sure none of them are hard to work with and that everyone has a nice personality. You don’t want any big egos on any sports team.

pros:
-its so much fun
-you bond with everyone
-you get in great shape!
-its good for college
-you make people happy
=]
cons:
-your team can be totally divided into little cliques where you guys arent friends at all
-you get judged by people who arent cheerleaders “is cheerleading even a sport?” screw them
-you can get hurt
=[
There are not to too many cons. The only thing is that, some cheers are tricky and take a while to get but the pros are you get to be spunky and spirited all the time. You aren’t just a cheerleaders at practice and games, your job as a cheerleader is to be that way all the time. You also get to decorate the gym/field for special games. You have to do your hair and makeup for games and its a lot of fun when you do it together. The best part is the opputunity to be loud AND social.
when choosing your team make sure each girl is full of energy and wants to be there. she has to be loud and willing to work. Also try to choose girls that have nice tight motions. some girls may be the best at being cheerful but suck at moves but that can easily be fixed with a little work
