    1. I wanted to be a cheerleader because I loved the challenge. Doing new stunts (I am a base) learing the new dances, going to camp and having new friends and being apart of all the schools games!

    2. Some of the training was hard only because it became so frustrating sometimes becuase I couldn’t always get the dances down or a new stunt down right. We condition a lot so some of that was pretty hard.

3.No girls on my team are snobs. Every girl has a little drama, but it doesn’t show with cheer. if they whole team is dedicated, they wont bring it to the practices or anything.

4.I have stress in my knee from the jumps on hard floor and stuff.

    5. My coach is only hard on us because she is so dedicated and wants us to be good.

    6. i mess up on mine sometimes but the key is to not look like you have and just go onto the next thing. Dont make like a groan whtne you mess up or anything like that.

I wanted to be a cheerleader because it’s the most motivational sport and it really fun.

Mine wasn’t hard for me because I do A lot of sports so I’m in shape.

No that is just a stereotype. For our team our coach doesn’t let people like that on the team

    You can A lot

Our coach was only hard on us before competitions

At practise I have but not when were preforming

    1. cuz it made me happy, make a lot of friends, inside jokes, loved the feeling you get when you hit a really hard stunt.
    2. no!! once the season starts, you become a family and it’s hard leavin them.
    3. occashionally. but not too banged up. just have to be careful
    4. not really. but every coach is different
    5. yes. haha

I’ve always had a passion for cheerleading

Yes many snobs. At competition walking around in your amazing uniform hairsprayed hair big boy and sparkly makeup you get dirty looks from left to right

Yes you will most likely get injured. I have 5 times I’m currently out for 3 weeks from cheerleading

Yes if your coach isn’t hard on you they’re not a coach

Yes of course I’ve messed up in my routine but shake it off and perfrom the rest with 110%

I do cheerleading because you have sooo much fun, you stay fit you make really close friends and its just the best experience ive had!! Everything about it is amazing.

Yes the training was and is sooo hard we train as hard as any other sport!!

No, thats a stereotype. all of the girls are sooo nice and were like one big family. People who cheer for school or pop warner are usually snobby though because they think they are better than you… i dont know why (im not saying everyone is…)

yes!! Cheerleading is a very dangerous sport but its so worth it. just last season i got ten jammed fingers and one broken finger. and my back is in pain alot but that doesnt stop me because i love it.

My coach that ive had for the past two years is hard on us but it makes us so much better. shes so nice though but she really makes us work which is a perfect combination of the two. Thats her dedication to the sport talking when shes hard on us but she would do anything for any of the girls

The only time i messed up was at the first competition ever i was sooo nervous but it was just a little mess up. i also forgot my backhandspring once but thats because i was about to hit someone. Even if you do mess up, you shouldnt let it get to your head just keep on going with a smile on your face 🙂

    1) I am a cheerleader because it was always something that interested me and when I was younger I looked up to the cheerleaders in my town.
2)Some times the practices can ware you out and make you really sore. But other than that it isn’t to bad.
3)No, the majority of cheerleaders are actually really nice and most of them have my back if I ever need them.
4)I have never really been injured from cheerleading where I was unable to practice or perform. But while back-spotting a stunt I have had fliers fall on me and give me bruises or a bloody nose.
5)Occasionally she can be, but I know its just because she has faith in us and she knows that we can get the basket tosses higher or the routine perfect.
6)Yeah I have messed up on my routine. I am only human and i do make mistakes. But I just keep smiling and go on with the routine.

1.) I’m currently a cheerleader on our highschool’s varsity squad and I wanted to be a cheerleader because alot of my friends made the squad in 6th grade and convinced me to try out. Been in it ever since 🙂
2.) Training’s not too hard,It just depends what you’re training for. Summer training/conditioning is a little tough at times since most girls don’t keep up with it like they should when we go on break. Competition Season training is pretty brutal too. Especially the last couple of weeks leading up to it. But during just football and basketball season it’s not too hard.
3.)The stereotype cheerleader couldn’t be more off. All the girls on my squad are fine. We all have our snobbish moments at times I guess, but there again who doesn’t aha
4.) I’ve never been injured too bad. Never more then a bruise or a strained muscle. I have however broken a nose. It was my back’s while I was flying.
5.) All my coaches have been WONDERFUL. They’ve all been like my second mom.
6.) And pshhh of course! EVERYONE messes up. It happens, but as long as u keep smiling and get right back into it it’s all good 🙂
