Question by little_bit0716: Is basketball cheerleading or football cheerleading more competitive?
I really want to tryout for basketball cheerleading, but I’m not sure about how competitive it is!! Thank you!

i have been a basketball cheerleader since 4Th grade it isn’t that competitive! football is a lot more competitive! So don’t worry it isn’t really competitive!

I do basketball cheerleading, and it’s alot of fun. I also have a friend who does football cheerleading and we both have alot of fun doing it. Its usually at schools in bball cheering, and you do more traveling in football cheerleading. In bball cheerleading I know everyone is a good sport and you meet alot of nice people plus since the competitions aren’t as big as football cheering competition there’s less pressure. The stadiums aren’t that big, but I can assure you you’ll have fun either way.
well I love Basketball cheerleading and i dont think its that competitive.
It really depends on the school. At mine basketball is more competitive only because there aren’t as many spots available, but personally football is more fun.
