get a petition from the your fellow students and set up a meeting maybe first with a guidance counselor and eventually the prinicipal and the board of education. Maybe your schools budget doesn’t support cheerleading? I dunno but im a cheerleader and i say that you should do whatever it takes =]

You need a sponsor. Find a teacher that is willing to be a coach. Some times if there is no one willing to be a coach then they wont have a squad. Also if the school is not willing to fund cheerleading…which most the time they aren’t. Put together fund raisers. If all else fails look for a local cheerleading team. Like an All-star team (usually with gymnastic gyms) or even like a pop-warner team. Good Luck
