Don’t do Cheerleading- it’s not worth sacrificing swimming, which is far more productive and challenging.

i dont know about your school but at my school yes you would be able to do that if you did only sideline cheer (fall to winter) and then you could so swim team (spring).

however if you plan to do competitive cheer (thats year long) it would conflict with swim team. if your question is if it is allowed to do 2 sports, im pretty sure you can. it just might take up a lot of time (if you do competitive cheer). cause i know a girl on my lacrosse team who did dance team (fall/winter) and lax is in the spring and it still worked out for her!

so yea id say find out how the cheerleading program works! sideline cheer actually counts as a year round sport too (even though its only for 2 seasons), just as dance team does. id say go for both! but thats cause i like to have a packed schedule to keep me busy!

It depends on if they are the same season. Your school might have cheer year-round, or just fall or winter. It depends on the school.
It also depends on if cheer is considered a sport or a club. At my school cheer had sport status, but it was changed to a club. So that also affects your ability to join other sports. You can’t be in more than one sport, but you can be in more than one club or one sport/one club, etc. Again depends on the school.
And time commitments. If practices/competitions overlap, you will have to choose one or the other.
And again, all of this depends on your school, their rules, etc.

If you were at my school…no. Cheer is a 24/7 commitment, and it’s not fair to not give your ALL to one sport.

I don’t know how seriously your school takes cheerleading, but it all depends. I’d pick one, and give that one your all.
